Grey’s Anatomy 14, i messaggi di Sarah Drew e Jesse Williams: “Non andare”

Sarah Drew e Jessica Capshaw saluteranno Grey’s Anatomy la prossima settimana, con un finale di stagione che promette lacrime e ricordi in cui tornare a vivere. Intanto, con un nuovo messaggio, il volto di April Kepner torna ad emozionare i fan.

Siamo arrivati alla fine, o quasi. L’ultimo episodio della 14esima stagione di Grey’s Anatomy andrà in onda la prossima settimana. Ancora qualche giorno prima di dire addio ad Arizona Robbins ed April Kepner. E proprio il volto della dottoressa April Kepner, dopo il penultimo episodio dello show andato in onda in America, ha lasciato un nuovo messaggio, affidato ai suoi profili social, questa volta indirizzato a Jesse Williams. “L’altra metà dei Japril“, come aveva scritto lo stesso Williams in un post pubblicato sul suo profilo Twitter.

First of all, Jesse knocked this scene completely out of the park. His performance destroyed me. Wow. Secondly, For me, this photo speaks volumes about our partnership. Jesse and I had some very trying stories to tell over the years and there were many moments when we really needed to lean on each other to get through them. And we did. To name a few: Samuel’s death, signing divorce papers, when Harriet was cut out of me (Jesse was on set to do the off camera phone call), when April tells Jackson she needs to move out because it’s just too hard. The scene right here where Jackson prays over April was one of those moments. It was agonizing for me, because I wanted so badly to reach out and offer him support in the scene- to let him lean on me – cuz that’s what we do for each other- but I had to just lie there unconscious letting him do his beautiful work alone. So, after he finished his coverage, I reached out to hug him and our makeup artist @lovveeani caught it on film. Our partnership on this show has been so sweet, so collaborative, so challenging (in the absolute BEST way). We got to tell stories that really matter, that have reached out and provided a safe space for people to love, laugh, mourn and grow. I will be forever grateful to my co-captain for the 9 years of friendship and for the opportunity to tell such beautiful stories together. Thank you, Jesse ❤️❤️❤️. Photocred @lovveeani

Grey’s Anatomy: Le parole di Sarah Drew per Jesse Williams

“Prima di tutto, Jesse ha completamente spaccato in questa scena” scrive Sarah Drew nel suo messaggio che ha emozionato e commosso i fan come l’ultimo episodio dello show andato in onda.

La sua performance mi ha distrutta. In secondo luogo, per me, questa foto parla della nostra collaborazione. Jesse e io abbiamo avuto molte storie difficili da raccontare nel corso degli anni e ci sono stati molti momenti in cui avevamo davvero bisogno di appoggiarci l’uno all’altro per superarli. E l’abbiamo fatto. Per citarne alcuni: la morte di Samuel, quando abbiamo firmato i documenti per il divorzio, quando Harriet è nata (Jesse era sul set per fare la telefonata fuori dalla telecamera), quando April dice a Jackson che ha bisogno di trasferirsi perché è troppo difficile. La scena in cui Jackson prega per April è stato uno di quei momenti. Era angosciante per me perché volevo così tanto raggiungerlo e offrirgli supporto in quella scena – lasciarlo appoggiarsi a me – perché è quello che facciamo l’uno per l’altro – ma dovevo semplicemente starmene lì e lasciargli fare il suo lavoro da solo. Così, dopo che aveva terminato la sua scena, ho allungato la mano per abbracciarlo e il nostro makeup artist lo ha immortalato. La nostra partnership in questo show è stata così dolce, così collaborativa, così impegnativa (nel modo MIGLIORE). Dobbiamo raccontare storie che contano davvero, che hanno raggiunto e fornito uno spazio sicuro alle persone per amare, ridere, piangere e crescere. Sarò sempre grata al mio co-capitano per i 9 anni di amicizia e per l’opportunità nel raccontare storie così belle. Grazie Jesse.

“Per favore, non andare…” scrive il volto di Jackson Avery. La 14esima stagione di Grey’s Anatomy si concluderà il 17 maggio. Nessun lieto fine per i Japril. Ma parole che resteranno nella memoria dei fan, come quel momento in cui Jackson Avery ha dichiarato il suo amore ad una April Kepner in abito da sposa.
