Golden Globes 2019: Tutte le nomination, domina “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel”

Senza Game of Thrones ai Golden Globes 2019 i favoriti nelle varie categorie sono senza dubbio lo show della Palladino, “The Americans” e “American Crime Story”…ma occhio a “Homecoming”.

I Golden Globes 2019 (qui tutti i vincitori del 2018) annunciati quest’oggi dalla Hollywood Foreign Press vedono diverse conferme rispetto all’ultima edizione degli Emmy Awards, con la differenza che Game of Thrones non è presente dato che è andato in onda nel 2017 ed è stato quindi candidato – senza vincere – nel 2018.
Senza il colosso HBO la sfida per il miglior drama è tra il favoritissimo “The Americans“, che se la dovrà vedere con la sorpresa BBC “Bodyguard” con protagonista Richard Madden – l’ex Robb Stark di Game of Thrones è anche lui candidato – autentica rivelazione della stagione con ascolti record su Netflix e prossimo al rinnovo per una seconda stagione.
Caitriona Balfe è sempre gradita conferma tra le nominate come miglior attrice drama grazie ad “Outlander”. Grandissima la delusione per “The Handmaid’s Tale”, esclusa dalla cinquina a favore di “Homecoming” con Julia Roberts che potrebbe essere la grande sorpresa firmata Amazon di questa edizione.

 
“The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” capace di fare incetta di premi agli Emmy si prepara a vincere anche tutte le principali categorie comedy dei Golden Globes, dopo aver fatto visita in Italia per la presentazione della seconda stagione con il cast al gran completo.  Per il miglior attore comedy è sfida a due tra una leggenda del grande schermo come Jim Carrey e Donald Glover.
 
Per quanto riguarda le miniserie sembra scontato il trionfo di “American Crime Story – L’assassinio di Gianni Versace“, ma attenzione a The Alienist – distribuita da Netflix – e Sharp Objects. Tra gli altri grandi nomi nelle cinquine spiccano Benedict Cumberbatch e Michael Douglas, tornato agli antichi fasti grazie alla sua interpretazione in The Kominsky Method.
